Biscayne National Park, Florida

Biscayne National Park is near Homestead Florida.  It is made up of 95% water including islands, reefs, and shipwrecks.  There are many ways that you can explore the park: boat rides, snorkling, kayaks, and canoes.  Bring your swimsuit, your sunscreen, and your sense of adventure.

Ford's Garage, themed diner in Florida

Ford's Garage, in Cape Coral, FL. A very well done themed diner.  The door handles are handles from gas pumps.  The sinks in the bathrooms were set inside of tires. The napkins were shop towels rolled up and held with a hose clamp.  The menu was car themed and the food was delicious.  This is a chain of 4 restaurants in Florida and one in Michigan.  If you get a chance, it's worth the visit.

Castillo de San Marcos, St. Augustine, FL

Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, FL is a well preserved fort which was originally built by the Spanish.  This fort is still intact and has many rooms you can visit.  The top of the fort where the cannons were located is definitely a walk back in time.  So much history here.
