Yesterday we visited Kartchner Caverns State Park just south of Benson, AZ. We toured an amazing cave. Unfortunately, we don't have any other pictures because we weren't allowed to take our phones in the cave. We toured the Big Room. This part of the cave is only open in the winter months because during the summer months this is where the bats come to have their babies and so they close the cave to tours. You can also tour the Rotunda / Throne room. These are open all year. This cave was discovered during the 70's and has only been open to the public since the 90s. If you are traveling to southern Arizona, add this to your list.
