Olcott, NY on Lake Ontario

We checked another item off of our bucket list.  With our visit to Lake Ontario, we have visited all 5 of the Great Lakes.  We stopped by a small town called Olcott, NY.  It was very quaint and beautiful.
They had some lovely little shops, a carousel, a lighthouse, and some places to get a little something to eat.  Then we went down to the beach and enjoyed the shore and the water.  We met a young lady who was searching along the shoreline for beach glass.  After asking her a little bit about it, we started looking for some and were able to find some small pieces.  Beach glass is formed when a glass bottle or other glass item is broken and tumbles around in the water and rocks for years; the edges are worn off and you are left with small pebble like pieces of glass.
