Thomas Edison National Historic Park in West Orange, New Jersey, showcases his laboratory, workshop and home. Here many of Edison's inventions are showcased including the phonograph, motion pictures and the electric light bulb. Several buildings were used for research and production of Edison's many wide-spread inventions which made daily life easier or more pleasant.
