Seaside Oregon is a charming little town, on the ocean. It boasts a boardwalk, a beach, some carnival-like games and rides, lots of places to buy your basic carnival/fair food, and most of all a statue of Lewis and Clark at the end of the main road through town. A fun place to spend a few hours or the day.
