Paul Bunyan and Babe, the blue ox

So there are probably a couple of dozen statues of Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue ox scattered about the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.  We stopped at one in the town of Bemidji, Minnesota.  These statues have been standing in this small town since 1937.  Recently, they have received some sprucing up and repair.  We had fun taking pictures of these statues and there were several other people there doing the same thing despite the fact that it was raining.  Some things are just worth stopping for...   As a side note, this little town is also the beginning of the Mississippi River.
