Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

There is so much to see in Yellowstone National Park.  It covers over 2 million acres.  While we were there, we had the chance to see bison, elk, and deer.  The park was set aside as the first national park in 1872.  The unique hydrothermal wonders that Yellowstone offers are truly amazing.  The most famous of these is the Old Faithful geyser, called such because it erupts in a predictable schedule, about every 90 minutes.  We also saw Tower Falls, Mammoth Hot Springs, Mud Volcano, Artist Paint Pots, and so much more.  We took hundreds of photos and were awed by the scenery and the wildlife.  Yellowstone is one of the most visited national parks and I understand why.
